Take your supplements three times daily to enhance health and give

2 Shakes, Personalized
Enjoy two meal replacement shakes personalized to the protein
needs of your body, plus protein snacks to

Eat a healthy meal, including plenty of colorful fruits and vegetables.
QuickStart Program: Easy!
- No. 1 Formula 1: Replace 2 meals with shakes. Mix 2 scoops of
the Formula 1 with non-fat milk,
non-fat or lite soy milk, or
diluted juices (rarely). To increase protein intake per shake, add
1 Tablespoon of Personalized Protein Powder for every 5 grams
of additional protein required.
You may want to avoid milk, however, if you are one of the four
out of ten people who have
an intolerance to it. (Stomach distress
can be caused by milk or milk products.) The milk solids in
Tropical Fruit contain no lactose (milk sugar).
Each serving of Formula 1 contains the fructose (fruit sugar) of one
small apple (not much). It provides
9 grams of quality protein
to satisfy! It is a true "meal replacement" with all the nutrients
that should
be in a balanced, healthy meal, but usually aren't!
Lots of tasty recipes are provided to give you ample variety
and ideas. The recipes can be adjusted

- No. 2 Formula 2: Take 1 tablet 3x daily with meals, which includes
the shakes. This gives you the right
amount of vitamins, minerals &
herbs that your body can absorb at one time. No synthetics here!
You will feel the difference!
- No. 3 Cell Activator: Take 1 to 2 caps 2x daily with meals, which
includes the shakes. This insures
absorption & delivery of
nutrition to the cells. The villi of the intestine is responsible
for 85% of
absorption of nutrients but can be easily damaged
by stress, medications & drugs, alcohol and some
foods.
Cell Activator restores the villi and makes sure every power
engine in each cell metabolizes
optimally.

- No. 4 Herbal Concentrate: Mix ½ to 1 tsp. (to your taste) in hot or
cold water. Drink down before
breakfast and lunch to get that
needed extra boost and appetite control. You can also use it to
drink
down the Snack Defense and/or sip on during the day.

- No. 5 Drink Water! This is SO important that a whole page is devoted
to the subject. Fat cells store
toxins (poisons) and, when you begin
to burn off fat, the toxins are released into the blood stream.
These
toxins can cause headaches if you do not drink enough water!
Toxins can also cause you to feel very tired.

- No. 6 CUT DOWN your fat intake to 25 to 35 grams a day. Fat depresses
the metabolism. Getting rid
of the "bad" fat will increase your
weight loss and you will feel so much better. " Fat on the
lips is fat
on the hips!"
Your body needs "good" fat in small amounts. Good sources are
olive oil, nuts and seeds, avocado, fish,
canola oil. Avoid solid
margarines, lard, and animal fat. Take the time to read about fat.
- No. 7 CUT OUT "simple carbohydrates" as much as possible. Excess insulin
generated by high
glycemic food actually stores fat!
The worst offenders are:
- Anything made with white or "enriched" flours. Use whole
grains instead. You need 25 - 35 grams
of fiber a day!
Read labels!
- White rice, use brown rice instead
- All corn products..it's not called "sweet corn" for nothing!
- Root vegetables like beets, carrots, white potatoes (small
red potatoes and small amounts
of yam and sweet
potatoes are ok...have fiber)
- High-glycemic fruits like bananas, watermelon, pineapple,
grape juice, raisins (10 grapes are ok...
skins are
healthy)
- Beer and liquors
- ALL sugar (except fructose found in fruits), i.e. honey,
molasses, corn syrup, maltodextrin, dextrose,
maltose,
xylol, brown sugar, powdered sugar, cane sugar.
- Be careful using sweeteners!
- Condiments and meat sauces are often loaded with sugar!
Read labels!
- "Non-fat" dressings and baked goods are also loaded with
sugars (carbohydrates)
- No. 8 CALORIES DO COUNT! But eating too few (under 1000) is just as
bad as eating too much! This is
NOT a starvation plan. In fact,
you will feel fuller longer and have no cravings if you follow
directions.
DO NOT SKIP BREAKFAST!
Do eat more protein and an abundance of vegetables and fruit
(just say "no" to those in #7). Your protein
need is determined by your gender, height and current weight. Your free body analysis will provide
you with the important information you need. This is free, of course.

- No. 11 Snack Defense--Snooze, Lose, Cut Cravings!: Take 2 tablets at bedtime and lose
fat while
you sleep! This metabolizes fat, leveling the blood sugar, so it's
great to use any time during the day
or evening to prevent cravings or that feeling of
hunger, dizziness or weakness due to the blood sugar
level dropping. One tablet mid-morning and mid-afternoon cuts the desire to snack, especially sweets
and other such carbs.

- No. 12 ThermoBond -- The "Fat Grabber": Take 1-3 tablets with meals. This absorbs
fat and moves it

No. 16 CLEANSING: The digestive system is a very sensitive and troublesome to some.
No weight loss
program would be complete without addressing this vital system.
Herbalife is formulated to be highly
digestible and our Cell Activator insures
absorption and delivery to the cells.
Because it can be so troublesome, you may begin our program with digestive
or elimination problems.
These problems may flare when starting a new way of
eating but over a short period of time the
flares will cease and you will find
you feel better and are more regular.
Proper digestion and elimination is essential to successful weight loss as well
as good health. It is wise to
cleanse the system at least every three months.
Many find they can lose weight better after a cleanse.
Absorption can be
hampered if the system is overloaded, not to mention the fact that it can be
a breeding
area for disease.

weight and simply hope to keep their weight in acceptable limits.

Once you achieve your ideal shape and weight (the place you look and feel the best), you use the
Formula 1 shake once a day. You continue with the Formula 2 and Cell Activator as usual. You will
have two meals a day instead of one.
Carol will help you design that second meal you add in order to maintain your weight.
Your metabolic rate needs to adjust to your new weight. It is important you adjust your intake
until you are maintaining your weight, being on the maintenance plan at least twice as
long as it took you to reach goal. You will continue to eat healthy, colorful meals for a lifestyle
