HOW IT ALL STARTED
Herbalife was born from the personal tragedy of Mark Hughes. When Mark was eighteen years old his mother tried to control her weight by using unsafe, restrictive diets and, unfortunately, prescription diet pills. Good nutrition wasn't an option in her weight-loss program. And the results were tragic. She died from an accidental overdose of prescription diet pills. She was only 36 years old.
Since that day, Mark has dedicated his life to helping people lose weight and improve their health safely and effectively.
